The K-Cup Challenge is Underway

After weeks of build up (and by build up I mean two posts saying it was going to happen), my personal K-Cup Challenge is underway. Beginning today, and continuing forward at a rate of one or two posts per week, I’ll be posting my thoughts on each and every K-Cup that I’m able to get my hands on. My goal, ridiculous as it may be, it to sample every single K-Cup available. Regular, decaf, flavored, tea, cocoa, it doesn’t matter. If it fits in a Keurig Brewer, I want to drink it, and then review it – all 190+ varieties.

Along the way, I expect a learn a great deal more about what makes coffee great, and, well, not so great. At the very least, it’s an opportunity to depart from the familiar worlds of Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks.  What’s more, the K-Cup challenge will allow me to repeatedly indulge my fascination with Keurig Brewers and Single-serve coffee.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters has been generous enough to provide some initial samples to help get things rolling. In addition to producing some really good coffee, Green Mountain is absolutely committed to social and environmental causes; donating 5% of their pre-tax profits to both their local, and coffee-growing communities. In short, they believe in doing their part to make the world a better place, and I’m very happy to be working with them in any capacity.

I’ve been contacted by other sponsors, but thus far haven’t been able to put anything concrete together. I’m actively looking for opportunities to test samples from the following companies:

I’m also hoping to try additional Keurig Brewers to see how other Keurig Brewers compare t0 the B140 Brewer in my office. I’m happy to trade advertising for samples. Affiliate opportunities are preferred, but not required. If your company makes, distributes, or sells K-Cups and you’re interested in helping out, please contact me or leave a comment.
