What the Deuce Version 2.0 (beta) Launches
I’m very happy to announce the release of the brand new WhatTheDeuce.com. As you can see, things have changed around here. Not only do we have a brand new look and feel, but a brand new focus as well…sort of.
Gone are the lunatic rantings of the madman that ran this place (don’t worry, that stuff is still available elsewhere). In it’s place is this; a brand new consumer product site, focused on…well, admittedly nothing in particular. We’re a small, but (hopefully) growing team of ordinary people on a mission to provide feedback on the consumables we use every day.
From the things we love (golf, photography, toys, and blue foods), to the necessities (toilet bowel cleaners, coffee makers, and nasal spray), what we review and preview will run the gambit, because that’s just how life is. We’ll do out best to keep it interesting, and honest. If we love a product, we’ll tell you about it. If we hate it we’ll tell you that to - and more than likely with a fair amount of irreverence.
What we promise not to become is another one of those sites that re-blogs the day’s press releases. Don’t get me wrong, we’ll feature plenty of new product information, but you can bet we’ll put our spin on it. We won’t regurgitate
There is still plenty of growing to do around here, content is sparse, but new stuff is being added daily. Please bear with us while we transition to the new site. For now we’re very much a beta release. There’s still plenty of clean up to do, plenty of features to add, probably a lot of broken things to fix.
While we could have waited until things were perfect, the simple truth of the matter is that January is a very exciting time for us. Two of the industries we love, Golf and Photography, have huge trade shows either underway, or about to start, and it is important to us that we be ready (or as ready as we can be) for them.
Check back soon, and often. Oh…and if you’re looking for the old stuff. It’s right here.

Good God! I’m gone for a coupla months and look what happens … what happened to golf, politics and folks crapping on your lawn? …. I know .. I’ll follow the link.
